Hola Amigos! Welcome to The Prayer Closet!
I have many closets in my house...an NO, I don't crawl in them and pray! This is a term that is used in intercession - that is when we make room in our hearts and make time to pray. We pray about this and that...but when we take selfless time out to interceed on behalf of others, to see God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven, what a wonderful thing! What an honor to serve the King of Kings and to see him respond.
Jesus prayed...it was the very core of his ministry. At times he was frustrated with his disciples 'cause they would fall a sleep instead of praying when they were supposed to. But Jesus knew how strategic prayer was and so in my life, I want to be more like Jesus and follow his example.
I have been the recipient in my own life of people's obedient actions to pray on my behalf when I was so weak with illness and personal struggles. What an amazing God we have that he would listen and respond. In my ministry travels I have also seen the power of prayer corporately and personally.
Here I will be posting some thoughts on prayer, some prayer requests and will also take prayer requests. I will also have some resources, books, dvds, cds etc that will also aid your journey of growing in your prayer life.
